The beard, oh definately. And make sure it's not too well-brushed. If you want an extra layer of authenticity, I could bring in a block of coal that we drew on Lucia with some time ago. That works wonders for solving too-clean skin. I still haven't figured out how exactly to do Arwen's dress. So far it's just - drape it horizontally like a strapless dress, drape another bit over shoulders like a cloak.

ooh! Lei, I just had an idea about your dress, it involes folding fabric over sleeves- remind me about it sometime.
Yay! beard! that's sooo cool! I still remember that, in aid of Histry I seem to recall. Maybe you could have a *real* beard as ask one of the teachers nicely who did the Carol Service beards?
Anyway, as Lei said, who can resist Manly Stubble? i take it you're going to be ROTK Aragorn?

Eek. Now I wonder which is the more shameful confession - being unable to spell, or having actually copied that description from another fanfiction forum due to not knowing what to write. Well, thanks for pointing it out. The costumes are what we're going to do for next Own Clothes' Day at LHS. Hopefully everyone at Ithilien's going to dress up as someone from LotR. ;D

I tend to do it with an eyeliner pencil. You may (or may not) remember my beard from last year. Who are the teachers that do the beards? Probably they don't like me, whoever they are. My hair's going to be way too long too, but it's taken me 2 years to grow it and I'm not cutting it now.
njr-pilot, yes, actually. "Dressing up Daft Day 3".

HAHAHA! LOL! that says it all really, Nick, doesn't it?? Lei, I'd admit to the latter reason as then you can still tell certain teachers off for spelling and grammar! Arrie- teachers are Dr Eadie, I seem to remember. Can't remember who else. (they itch apparently, so you may just wanna stick to manly stubble again)

I think I'll stick with the manly stubble, much better. Don't want to scare the first years.

I have a cold, It is quite old, Its been living in me, it tries to roam free.
I hate colds, they get me down, make me feel miserable; make me want to frown and make me go for the medicine bottle again...
oh dear.
I have a cold, but its going now, a nice day out, then in from the bitter cold; 'Go away!' i say, and it does as it's told.

This is either a conincidence or the ads at the top of this page are very clever.
When I was last reading them, they were advertising Beard Trimmers.
