Of course you can, it'll probably look much better on you. Do you still have the same pointy ears from last time? I seem to remember loads of people trying to touch them..weird...

Yeah a random girl in the dinner hall started touching my ears I was like ooooooook. And yeah I still have them, it won't look better on me pae I assure you and I will look silly but as long as I look Lotrlated I don't really mine. I could try and be a charachter, I was thinking Legolas, but that means being a man (even of he is more like a woman) and having to wear just tights...green tights at that. Well with a top as well of course, otherwise I really would look weird. Ok...stopping now.

But if you wore green tights you could double as Robin Hood and do the song "We're men! We're men in tights!" etc...
Oh yay ears...lol...Lora and the loincloth...hehehe....

THAT is a really good point. I shall be Legolas, I might have a job finding a costume but I shall try my very best. I have money to buy clothes thankfully so I can get a costume this saturday and any other bits next saturday....not that you guys really need to know that.

Yay! I need to find some black dye for my waistcoat, sort out my trousers etc...shoes may be a problem...hm...may just have to wear school shoes...At least the shirt's sort of the right colour even though it's a bit patchy and has buttons... Can I just say that none of my costume is going to look remotely like Aragorn's? (Except maybe the beard) So I apologise in advance for that.

Oh well that doesn't matter, we all know who you and that is what counts.
I need to look more closely at what Legolas wears, have just realised I don't really know apart from the green tights. If it is going to be too revealing I may go for someone else.

His skirt is quite short but you could probably get away with making it a bit longer. I suppose the braids might be a bit of a problem, though you could always just plait your hair.

NO NOT PLAIT NO WAY!
I plan to straighten it and get someone to put braids in it in the morning...plaits...ew no.
As for the skirt, if it is a mini skirt I may opt for it to be a bit longer...maybe I could dress up in his Lorien garb, then all I need is a long dress.

Lol just me and my liking for plaits there then. If I remember right it's sort of just above the knee type length...though the Lorien dress would be a good option. But then you wouldn't see the tights...ah well heheh.

The problem with doing random scene costumes is that no-one will reconise who you are, at least if I do the normal costume people will know. Need to loose weight however to look like Leggie, good incentive actually not to eat chocolate. Will print of pic of him tonight and study it, get it into my head exactly what he wears. On second thoughs can just look at my art of the fellowship of the ring. That is s good point, if anyone doesn't know what to add to their costume they can look in that and it has the exact thing that they wear in like close up. OOh excellent am off to bed to study now.

Ummmm, Lora's mum bougth all the elves a pair last year but I was the only one who fashioned them to look good cos they were like HUGE before so I just cut off the pointy tips and wore that. I don't however know where they are from and Lora has just left...d**n, if I remeber will ask her 2moro before debating YAY DEBATING!!!

YAY! you refer to yourselves as "the elves"!!! What other influences can we exact upon you all....? Btw, how did you guys find debating? It's usually much more structured and more opportunity for watchers to speak.

I loved debating! I was near hysteria...hahahaha...... They all seemed very....dare I say, passionate about the topic despite the fact that they'd only had 5 minutes to prepare it, and the arguments were excellent-I was nearly persuaded by every one. I was totally in awe of all of them-I could never speak like that. So..yes, all in all a good day out. Hehe. What was the actual verdict by the way, we couldn't stay to see Lucia speak-sorry about that, we had to get back.
