But wasn't Sauron apparantly very fair-looking in the eyes of Men?

so fair-looking that he, indeed, resembled a female? and thus, did, indeed, "seduce"?

Lol...bad bad images NOO MORE!
OK, Rúmil to Lórien..
By Rumil did you mean Haldir's brother cos if you did then -
Rumil lives in Lorien Middle-Earth
Which is named after Lorien in Valinor
Which is in turn named after the Valar Lorien lol!
If you mean the Rumil who invented the letter then -
Rumil invented letters
Afterwards Feanor did as well and his were better than poor Rumil's
Feanor was the son of Míriel, who died giving birth to Feanor
When she died she went to the forests of Lorien in Valinor to rest
I assume she met Lorien but if not the forests of Lorien were named after the Valar Lorien (most often called Irmo)
Tee hee
OK now link Ghân-buri-Ghân to ummm...Vairë, very random!

good link, I did mean the Rumil who invented letters.
Gosh, I'm going to have a think about yours. For a start, i'm going to have to discover who these people are.
Everyone, feel free to link too!

Yeah everyone try, if it can't be done then someone else can just make one instead, this one is a bit hard, Lei, I bet you can do it though!

good link, I did mean the Rumil who invented letters. You did? I thought I was the one who set the link And I meant Rúmil, Haldir's brother. Also, the links must be through meetings between these people. Thus Rúmil must have met someone who met someone who met Lórien. Or such. Since you're so flattering, RastNim, I'll have a go ;D Ghân-buri-Ghân to Vairë: Actually, it's not hard, though it might be cheating slightly. Ghân-buri-Ghân must have died sometime, in which case he'd meet Mandos. Um. Figure. If you want a proper one, let's see... Ghân-buri-Ghân met Éomer. Éomer met Shadowfax. Shadowfax was... I can't remember, either descended from a horse from Valinor, or he himself was from Valinor. I'm guessing Shadowfax (or ancestor) would have met Orome's horse, who obviously knew Orome. Orome knew Vairë, since they're both Valar. That is, unless Shadowfax (or ancestor) didn't meet Vairë.

Well done! that was a reli hard one. I don't think the Ghan-Buri-Ghan dying one counts though I think it is actually totally impossible not to be able to link any of them to one another. Oh btw Lei it's your turn to give us one to link.

I hope this will give you a good run:
Link Ulwarth with Shagrat.

Ulwarth...I don't recall that name....*goes to look it up*
AH-HA that was a wee bit obvious Ulfang's son!!
Rite link him to Shagrat...rite....v hard!
I could do a crappy one -
Ulwarth was son of
Ulfang who was an evil Easterling
Easterlings were allies of Sauron in the WotR
Shagrat (just realised the implications of that name) was also on the dark side.
Ok that was really bad...well in that case it will ahve to be very long indeed here goes...
Wow after A LOT of thinking I have finally got it "EUREKA!" -
Shagrat commander of Cirith Ungol killed
Gorbag of Minas Morgul
The home of the Ringwraiths (I presume he therefore met them as well)
Who were corrupted by the Nine rings of power given to them which had been made by
Mirdain of Eregion, who followed the traditions of (and presumably met)
Celebrimbor (the maker of the 3 elvish rings) who was the only son of
Curufin who was the son of Feanor
The sons of Feanor went to the Nirnaeth Arnoediad with
Ulfang who was of course the only son of the Easterling
Ulwarth!!
I did it, that took aaagees!!!!
Ok now I shall make a really hard one for you.
Link the one legged Labadal with Zamîn AH-HA!!

Labadal is the one legged guy who is the childhood friend of Turin. He is the one who Turin gives his knife too and stuff.
As for Zamîn she was Ancalimë’s childhood companion and was an old woman.
Lol Labadal is an old man and Zamin is an old woman! (that isn't a link possibility lol)

Oooh! I just thought of one (although, not entirely sure it's possible):
Link Eldacar to Sam.
(Answer Tinor's link first though. I just thought she might get a bit bored as we all scrmmble madly for our books and figure out who these people are... Helped by Lei, I came up with a very very long-winded link using family trees but she might have found a better one so I'll wait a bit first)
