I'm not really sure what to say to this one...I would definitely feel like I were defiling an angel, nor would I like to *coughs* an elf, it would just feel wrong. Men much better.

erm...not entirely sure I want to. But thank you all for editing your own posts- means I don't feel too much of a spoilsport...yay!
Have decided Viiiiiiiiggo is unbelievably cool and no wonder puny Stuart Townsend wasn't "old and scruffy" enough. (one day, that will seem like a compliment to Viiiiiiggo)

How *dare* you insult my Townsend? (Sorry, I cannot speak for my behaviour today- I watched Queen of the d**ned earlier and have gone slightly mad)
Veego better as Aragorn, though.

Cats??? as in someone from the cast of Cats would have been better as Aragorn? well, I suppose they are already pre-haired/ whiskered.
Sorry, Arrie, i don't mean to insult "your Townsend", I'm jsut very defensive of Viiiiiiggo (who is undoubtedly stunning and remarkable as Aragorn). And as testimony to that I hage a real reason (not jsut the usual "he's so fine" one). When reading LOTR second time round after watching all 3 films, I can't imagine anyone else in that role. Maybe that's cos I was influenced by film first so anything i do read is based on it. but anyway, I think they cast really really well. All of the major characters seem perfectly cast. And I'm glad they were all relatively unknown too. Then their roles rean't marred by any previous performances.

Sorry if I came over aggressive, Esteldil, I do like my Townsend. I too think he would have been pants as Aragorn, his Lestat accent is bad enough (see Queen of the Darned (will it edit darned?) )

Hahaha you're only a human at the moment while I'm and elf!
Anyway, we both remember Arasend or Towngorn...it is horrific. To the others, if you too would like to permenatly scar yourself for life I shall send you the link of Townsend as Aragorn...no really in the full garb, the Bree costume....it is horrific.
Aragorn really is fine....so manly yum! Hahaha before I misspelled manly and put k instead of l, whoops not the word I wanted....lol sorry I felt I should share that all with you....
Lol now have image of a light covered Mr Mistoffelees prancing around as Aragorn dancing around and suddenly bursting into song "Where can the hobbits be, OH where OH where!" ANNNYYYWAAAAYY! (how about Rum Tum Tugger he is sexy...hahaha remember my version of him to those who understand?!)
