you'll miss your parents? Hm, guess I will too. But I will miss the freedom we have at school more than anything- like being randomly able to start Ithlien. Am going to really really miss that.
Is Irot Faramir?? (there we go, random question!)

No, Irot is not Faramir, but the picture she had before was. Irot is someone RastNim and I met through One Spoof. Read her name backwards.

If there was a subject called "Tolkien Studies" you'd all get in! As it is, I hear Oxford are desperate for people to do Latin.
Random question: What do the words "Uruk-hai" and "Olog-hai" actually break down into?

Lol, I don't know the specifics. What I heard was just a rumour, like many that you'll hear in the next year or so.
Linaeisilme, those sites you posted are really helpful. I'm currently working my way through them (so much more interesting than Heterotrophic Nutrition, wish I had a Tolkien test tomorrow instead).

It is indeed Biology. The time is getting late. I've been sitting here with my folder for the last 2 hours without reading it. I wonder why?
Has anyone got any more random questions?

I told Lora not that long ago what Urak-hai and Olog-hai meant so don't give me the I've always wondered, you never listen to me *huff*
*eye twitch*
Urak-Hai means great orc in simple terms and Olog-hai is surprisingly great troll. OK!? whatever they say it is what it means as I read it not that long ago in I think a HoME.

OOH a question I missed that *takes a deep breath* Erestor is...
The was the chief counsellor of Elrond and his household during LotR andhe was actully at the Council of Elrond, if you go one split screen dot com it has a picture of Erestor, he is horrific looking. He was one of the ones who did not support the idea of destroying the Ring, and preferred instead the notion of guarding it from Sauron, maybe by giving to Tom Bombadil. He was also the one that kept making all really useless suggestiongs like "why can't we throw it into the sea" and they would all take a deeeeeep breath and explain it to him simpily. Poor wee thick Erestor.
